Savory Drop Biscuits (GF/DF)
A quick and easy gluten-free/dairy-free recipe that will have you turning out delicious, savory biscuits like nobody's business.

Dry Ingredients:

2 cups gluten-free 1-to-1 flour blend

1 Tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp dried dillweed (or 1 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped)

1/4 rounded tsp paprika
Wet Ingredients:

1 large egg
-
3/4 cup dairy-free milk (such as oat milk, almond milk or rice milk)

3 Tbsp olive oil
-
1/2 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine all the wet ingredients.
Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Drop batter by full, rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool biscuits on a wire rack.

These biscuits are very satifying. They're delicious with all sorts of things--like jam, marmalade, a slice of dairy-free cheese--and are equally awesome on their own.
